Workshop Session Course Modules

Module 1: Introduction to Drones and UAVs

This module covers the history, types, and applications of drones and UAVs. It introduces basic aerodynamics, key components, and the principles of flight, providing a foundational understanding of drone technology.

This module focuses on the essential hardware components of a drone, including frames, motors, propellers, Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs), and power systems. It covers component selection, compatibility, and basic assembly.

1 Hour Lunch Break 

This module explores flight controllers, sensors (gyros, accelerometers), and navigation systems (GPS). It covers flight controller setup, firmware flashing, and configuration software for stable and controlled flight.

This module provides hands-on experience in assembling a quadcopter. It covers wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly. It also includes calibrating sensors and ESCs for optimal performance and flight stability.

This module covers basic flight maneuvers, safety protocols, and regulations. It also introduces troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and best practices for extending the lifespan of a drone, along with an overview of advanced flight modes.
