Session 1: Drone Components and Construction

  • Time: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Contents:
    • A detailed explanation of drone components: frame, motors, ESCs (Electronic Speed Controllers), propellers, flight controller, Radio and Receiver, Video Transmitters and receivers, GPS etc.
    • Hands-on demonstration of assembling a basic drone frame

Session 2: Flight Control Systems and Software

  • Time: 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Contents:
    • Understanding flight control systems: PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controllers, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), gyroscope, accelerometer, etc.
    • Overview of popular flight controller boards (F4, F7, H7, KK, DJI etc).
    • Introduction to drone programming and software platforms (e.g., Betaflight, Ardupilot)
